I finally got to see the first week Apprentice episode (Donald's not Martha's) For some reason, my DVR didn't record it on Thursday so I had to wait for a rerun last nite at 11:00 EST.
Read below for my two cents ... if you haven't seen the show yet, come back when you have!
First of all ... did you notice in the opening sequence on the golf course ... everyone's hair is blowing in the strong wind ... except Donald's? I was roaring.
Yay! I'm so glad they booted nasty girl Melissa. Although she thinks she's all assertive and task-focused, she certainly didn't come off that way. She came off as difficult and negative. It is always hard to tell how much of this is due to episode editing, but given what I saw I think she was the right choice.
I had to laugh though at Donald's parting comment to Kristi.
Who's first to go on the men's team? Chatterbox Markus? Do you think?
Poor Randall, it's great that they are flying him out for the services!
One final thought ... how many butt shots at the gym did they show during this episode? Were they necessary?

I don't do The Apprentice, so my comment isn't for that, but about the DVR. Are you still using a Tivo or did you get the Digital Cable with built in DVR from Comcast?
We have the latter - we decided to go that route when we got the HD plasma, and for the most part we love it but the box is really finicky sometimes. It won't record things it knows it's supposed to, and then there are times when it forgets it has 2 tuners and won't let me watch something different from what it's recording. Really annoying. I'm just waiting to finish watching all that is on it's hard drive right now so we can trade it in for a new one. I think it was abused in it's previous life.
